Event Coordinator & Club President
2022-2025
I have been fortunate to lead Animation Jam, an event that has grown significantly under my leadership. When I took over as president in Fall 2023, the club’s participation doubled, and we now regularly engage over 70 students each semester.
Animation Jam is an event where teams of 2-5 students create an animated film of any medium in just 48 hours. Beyond this intense challenge, Animation Jam also hosts additional events throughout the term in collaboration with the Center for Student Engagement (CSE), promoting a sense of community and creative exploration among students.

Our mission is to offer a hands-on, creative experience that allows students to explore the limits of animation, storytelling, and teamwork within a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe that creativity thrives in a community, and we are building that community both at ArtCenter and online, with growing engagement on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Leadership Roles & Experiences
As the Event Coordinator and Club President, I oversaw all aspects of Animation Jam, including event planning, team management, and communication with the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). I ensured that all logistics are in place for the 48-hour animation challenge, from reserving the theater to coordinating deadlines with my team. This role also involved managing a growing team of moderators, fostering a positive, productive atmosphere, and ensuring that every participant has an enriching experience.​​​​

Administrative Responsibilities
Team Collaboration:
Ensured timely submission of paperwork, organized club meetings, and managed event planning logistics.
I have worked closely with my vice president and a team of moderators to ensure that all club activities run smoothly. Maintaining a welcoming, respectful environment where everyone’s voice is heard and respected.
